Riveting read - I ll echo the other reviewer: this is an excellent collection of novellas. I picked it up because I m mad keen on C.E. Murphy, her story in this book slots into her Walker Paper series between Urban Shaman and Thunderbird Falls, and gives insight into Jo s family background, as well as being a tense page-turner of an adventure.I ve not been that keen on the other two authors in the past, but found their stories in this book very readable and enjoyable. Well worth the money, I ll read this again.
More, I want more! - I absolutely loved this book, and was left wanting more. Winter Moon is a collection of 3 short stories by 3 wonderful authors, all with The Moon as a central element to their story. I bought this book as a fan of Mercedes Lackey, but also thoroughly enjoyed the stories written by Tanith Lee and C E Murphy. Each story could have stood alone as a full length story, indeed, I found myself wishing that each one was just that bit longer... (which for me is always the mark of a good story). Ary.
